Web 3 — Where community and creativity combine.

Community collaboration is no longer an idealistic future. It is a reality, right now.

How did we get here?

We set out with clear intention for Glue Factory — not only to create a series of NFTs and an animated series to go with it but to bring collectors in on the show creation process.

Web3 is bringing about a rapid evolution of creative industries and we are incredibly excited to be at the forefront of this movement. Through our Community Writers’ Room we were able to bring our audience into the script writing process for the series, taking them inside the recording booth to see our actors at work and, as the project progresses, we’ll continue to share content from the journey.

Much like the proverbial iceberg, what we have been able to share is just a fraction of what is happening behind the scenes. Yet, the ‘tip’ of the Glue Factory Show iceberg has allowed a level of community involvement and access, that’s here to shake up Hollywood. We have been continually inspired by our community. Your support for the project and participation in assignments is the epitome of why Web3 is changing entertainment and creative industries — and we’re only just scratching the surface.

While the series is the star of the story, we want to explore more of where we can go with creative endeavours for the project and our community.

ENTER THE COMMUNITY CREATORS’ ROOM

Through the writing assignments we uncovered a passionate and creative core within our community. Not only those who put forward ideas, but also those who took part in the discussion and a solid contingent who preferred the fly-on-the-wall approach. In speaking with our community we were both surprised and delighted that a large number of people enjoyed reading the ideas and stories of others as much as if not more than submitting ideas themselves.

That got us thinking, what can we do to continue to foster the creativity of our community?

Well, rather than simply rolling out the obligatory second NFT drop, we’re bringing our community along for the ride via the Community Creators’ Room.

HOW DOES THE COMMUNITY CREATORS’ ROOM WORK?

Together we’ll create the new horses on the block through a series of assignments dedicated to uncovering the universe in which these equine legends live. Together we will evolve the style, dream up ideas for traits, and involve the community in every step of this process.

We’re creating an NFT drop FOR horses, BY horses and with the first assignment in the books the theme for our second NFT (which all holders will be able to mint for free + gas) is…….

The F is silent, no wait, the H is silent, wait… what if neither are silent?.

Voted by our community, Space Fhorse was a clear frontrunner due its immense creative flexibility.

With the direction now decided, the Community Creators’ Room will begin to explore all that goes into creating a generative NFT drop with the next steps being all about the art!

We’ll explore:
- Art styles
- Backgrounds
- The framing of the characters — biped, quadruped, no head?
- Compiling a huge list of possible traits for the members of Space Fhorse

As the art direction takes shape + the art goes into production, we’ll then switch gears and dive into the technical side of the release as we explore the ultimate possibilities of Web3 and community creativity and, of course, we’ll dive into character lore.
