THE COMMUNITY WRITERS ROOM

In our last post we went into how the Glue Factory Show is being brought to life by the team and in today’s post we share more on how we have brought our community in to be a part of the process.

Introducing the Community Writers Room!
Our writing team have begun to build out the series hard at work piecing together themes that carry through the episodes, character development, the story arc and more.

Now, we’re bringing our community in on the process with Writing Assignments!

Over the next month we are setting writing assignments in our Community Writers Room. This process is taken straight from behind the scenes of many of your favourite shows.

These Writing Rooms are available to verified Glue Factory Show NFT holders and are a space to bounce wild and wonderful takes. In each assignment, a scenario will be presented and our community can flex their creativity and put forward ideas for our writers to mix into the show.

Our goal was to keep the entire process native to our Discord and we pretty damn excited by how it has come together:

1 — After reading the brief and agreeing to the T&Cs of the rooms, verified holders are assigned a custom role ‘Horse With Pen’ giving them access to a series of new rooms.

2 — The Writing Assignment Brief outlines the scenario and the assignment setting the scene and prepping our Horse With Pen pals with all they need to get creative.

3 — The Writing Assignemnt Discussion room sees our community bounce ideas and talk through the scenarios with each other and the team.

4 — The Writing Assignement Submission room is where the community unveil their ideas fore their pen peers to see.

The feedback on the workflow and the ease of which our community have taken to the process has been nothing short of amazing.

Taking part in the Writing Assignments will earn some perks.

POAP Tokens — Everyone who takes part in the writing assignments will receive a POAP (Proof of Attendance) token. To commemorate their involvement.

Writing Awards — Following the final writing assignment there will be a special series of awards, think of it like being nominated for an Emmy, only Pooper is in charge of the event. There will be awards for each of the 6 assignments and both the writing team and community will take part in shortlisting for these awards.

But perhaps the best perk of all is having them involved in bringing the Glue Factory Show to life!
